More than 80 organizations take part in the McGill Volunteer Fair. Over 600 visitors, mostly from the McGill community, but also members of the general public, are able to talk to representatives from a wide variety of non-profits and explore with them the organization’s activities and current volunteer opportunities. Being a volunteer is an excellent way to learn professionals skills and improve them. More information here.
We’ve all volunteered at some point in our lives, from spending our earliest days scanning books at our grade school library, to today, spending the holidays at a local food bank.
