Société d'histoire naturelle de la vallée du Saint-Laurent / Ecomuseum / St. Lawrence Valley Natural History Society / Ecomuseum
Volunteer docents needed to host guided tours for groups of all ages, sharing the knowledge gained during a ten-week training course on the flora and fauna of the Saint Lawrence Valley. To qualify, volunteers must be 18 years of age or over, enjoy working with children and be patient and dynamic. The English course will begin this winter.

Volunteers needed to raise a puppy during its first year in order to prepare it to become a guide dog. The puppy must not be left alone for more than four hours a day.

Volunteers with a dog, or other well-trained and calm animal that is used to people, are needed to visit with seniors living in the residence.
Réseau secours animal / Animal Rescue Network
Volunteers needed as cleaning helpers working with over 250 abandoned adult cats which are cared for morning and evening, 365 days per year. Requirements: be reliable, able to work with others, able to follow directions and strong enough to lift a bucket of water. All potential volunteers will be invited to visit the shelter before making a commitment.
