Volunteer driver with license and car needed. Requirements: be available on call or by appointment, be able to navigate greater Montreal.

CLSC René-Cassin (CSSS Cavendish) / CLSC René-Cassin (CSSS Cavendish)
A easy-going female volunteer is needed to serve as a friendly visitor and offer social support to an 84-year-old woman who lives alone and is socially isolated. The client would prefer someone who shares the same interests as her, which include keeping up to date on current events, reading and doing puzzles, knitting and needlework. She also loves cats and owns three. The volunteer needs to be engaging, interested, flexible and love cats.
Réseau secours animal / Animal Rescue Network
Volunteers needed as cleaning helpers working with over 250 abandoned adult cats which are cared for morning and evening, 365 days per year. Requirements: be reliable, able to work with others, able to follow directions and strong enough to lift a bucket of water. All potential volunteers will be invited to visit the shelter before making a commitment.
