The VBM launches its new Web site!

Welcome to the Volunteer Bureau of Montreal's new Web site!

Our new site - developed by the Montreal non-profit Koumbit using Drupal open-source software - is designed to serve as a link between the thousands of volunteers and potential volunteers who use our services each year and the hundreds of non-profit community organizations for whom we recruit.

Improved graphics, "breadcrumb trails" to facilitate navigation, on-line forms (available shortly), a powerful search engine and other added features are the key elements of the new presentation.

We still encourage you to call us up and make an appointment to meet one of our volunteer placement counsellors - there's nothing like face-to-face contact. But those who prefer doing things on line, or don't have time to come downtown, will now have access here to over 400 requests for volunteers - a number that will be steadily increasing as time goes by.

This bilingual site will be in constant evolution. We welcome your comments, suggestions and questions. We'll be paying attention! The VBM wants cabm.net to become a must for the milieu communautaire!
