Entraide Bénévole Métro is a community organization that helps seniors living in the downtown core remain independent in the community. Our main services are friendly visits, medical accompaniments, grocery shopping (with or without the client), daily phone calls as well as income tax preparation for low income seniors. All our services are provided free of charge to our clients through trained volunteers.

This organization's needs

  • Volunteers needed to help seniors with their grocery shopping. Volunteers must be able to communicate in English or French, have good listening skills and have the ability and interest to do grocery shopping. Volunteers must provide two professional references from persons who have known them for a minimum of six months. References from outside of Montreal or Canada must be supplied by e-mail.
