Participation Agreement
The Volunteer Bureau of Montreal has created a participation agreement, in order to provide a training service that is accessible and fair. We ask you to read this agreement carefully before you register.
Registration
Space is limited. The participant is therefore asked to comply with the following registration procedures:
- In order to attend training, participants must complete our registration form.
- Submitting your form does not guarantee a place in any workshop.
- Places will be assigned in order of registration date.
- A confirmation will be sent to all participants within a reasonable delay after submitting the form.
- Participants have the responsibility of communicating with the VBM, in case of non-receipt of confirmation.
- If the number of registrations exceeds our capacity, participants will be added to our waiting list and will be informed.
- When cancellations occur, we will contact participants on our waiting list in the order of their registration date.
- The VBM is not able to accept participants who have not complied with these procedures.
Registration fees
To confirm attendance, the participant agrees to pay the registration fees within the timeframe requested;
- Your payment should be sent to us so that we receive it 5 working days before the day of training.
- If we do not receive your payment 5 working days before the day of training, your place could be allocated to another agency on our waiting list.
Cancellation
The participant agrees to notify us of any cancellation or change as soon as possible:
- The cancellation of your participation might enable us to provide a place to a person on our waiting list, allowing other participants to benefit from the training.
- It is essential to notify us of any changes in your participation (cancellation, absence, deferment of your participation) 5 working days before the day of training.
- An administrative fee of $ 20 will be charged to organizations who cancel without informing us 5 working days before the training and that, for each workshop.
- An administrative fee of $ 20 will be charged to organizations who wish to defer their participation to a later date without informing us 5 working days before the training and, for each workshop.
- Organizations may postpone their participation within a period of one year from the date of the training. After this delay we will not accept any postponement.
