The Essentials

A series of four workshops covering the basics of volunteer resource management.

The following day-long workshops are currently being offered. Please select which you would like to attend:

Volunteer Recruitment, Wednesday, February 15th 2012, 9 :00a.m -4 :00p.m

Volunteer Selection and Screening, Wednesday, March 14th 2012, 9 :00a.m -4 :00p.m

Volunteer Integration and Supervision, Wednesday, April 11th 2012, 9 :00a.m -4 :00p.m

Addressing Difficult Situations With Volunteers, Wednesday, May 9th 2012, 9 :00a.m -4 :00p.m

SPECIAL TOPIC WORKSHOPS

These focus on specific themes which reflect current needs in volunteer management.

Please select from among the following workshops:

Everything you ever wanted to know about engaging youth in your work - Wednesday, March 28, 2012, from 9 to noon ***free of charge*** (Full)

The Trainer's Toolbox: Openers, Closers and In-betweens - Thursday, May 31st, 2012 from 9 to noon

REGISTRATION FEES

Registration fees for stand-alone workshops are as follows:

$72 for VBM Member organizations (lunch included)

$80 for non-Members (lunch included)

Registration fees for the Essentials series are:

$240 for VBM Member organizations (lunch included)

$320 for non-Members (lunch included)

Your organization must be a Volunteer Bureau of Montreal Member in good standing in order to benefit from the reduced rate.

Membership involves completing and returning the Membership form each year, as well as redeeming the applicable $50 fee before July 1st,annually.

PAYMENT of REGISTRATION FEES

We will confirm your registration via email as soon as possible.

You will also receive an invoice with the details about how to make your fee payment.

Please send in your payment within the timeframe specified in the "Participation Agreement" (see below).

In order to ensure that workshops are accessible and accomdate all participants, we ask that you read the "Participation Agreement" below carefully.
