  • Volunteer drivers with a car are needed to drive clients from the southwest Montreal area to downtown hospitals or, on occasion, to other locations. It may be a one-way ride to drop the client off or may require staying with them and driving them back home. Driving expenses are reimbursed at 50¢ per km. Volunteers must own a car, hold a valid driver's licence, have an excellent driving record, be responsible and patient and be able to to assist the client in and out of the vehicle. La tâche à conduire une personne âgée de son domicile au lieu de l’activité. Le bénévole s’engage à être respectueux des règles de sécurité (dossier de conduite exigé), être ponctuel au rendez-vous et aider le Vieil Ami dans ses déplacements. Le bénévole accompagne le Vieil Ami tout au long de l’activité et est à son écoute. Il le ramène ensuite à son domicile et s’assurer qu’il est en sécurité avant de le quitter.
