Knitters and Sewers needed for a project at Catherine Booth Hospital. Shawls can be sewn or knit by a volunteer at home that would be donated to the patients of Catherine Booth Hospital; a rehabilitation centre. We also need sewers for creating pouches to hold personal items of patients on walkers and wheelchairs. The only skill you need is to knit or sew.   • Arts & Crafts Activity: We are looking for volunteers to offer a recreational activity to our patients in rehabilitation following orthopedic surgery. The activity will take place on the weekends; time and day to be confirmed. A small team of volunteers can co-lead, organize and develop the arts & crafts program for the patients. Tasks include: preparation of bingo game, gathering patients, socialization with patients, assisting patients with vision and/or hearing loss and distributing prizes.
