Kitchen help : St. Raphael’s will open its doors in September 2019. The kitchen volunteer will work with the chef, assisting him/her in his/her work, will participate in preparing meals and snacks, prepare trays, assist with delivery of trays, provide table service and clear the tables after meals. The volunteer will load and empty the dishwasher and keep the kitchen clean. If necessary, the volunteer will perform any other related task at the request of the chef. The laundry room volunteer will receive clean linen from the commercial laundry company and will then prepare the laundry carts and deliver them to the home. The outdoor maintenance volunteer will ensure that the grounds are well maintained : Mow the lawn and maintain the flowerbeds, shrubs and trees, water the lawn and plants as necessary, gather leaves in the fall and ensure that the premises are safe by clearing snow from the entrances and spreading abrasives on the ice.
